Ontem, durante a London Climate Action Week, mulheres l\u00edderes de Povos Ind\u00edgenas e Comunidades Locais, representantes de fundos territoriais, doadores, aliados e parceiros reuniram-se para lan\u00e7ar o relat\u00f3rio Financiamento Direto com Perspectiva de G\u00eanero para Povos Ind\u00edgenas e Comunidades Locais: Li\u00e7\u00f5es dos Fundos Territoriais.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Desenvolvido por meio de um esfor\u00e7o colaborativo entre a Plataforma Shandia, o Movimento de Mulheres da GATC e fundos territoriais \u2014 incluindo Fundo Rut\u00ee, IPAS, Fundo Pod\u00e1ali, Fundo REPALEAC, Fondo Territorial Mesoamericano (FTM), Jaguat\u00e1, Fundo Ind\u00edgena do Rio Negro (FIRN) e Amazon\u00eda por la Vida \u2014 o relat\u00f3rio destaca tanto as barreiras que as mulheres de Povos Ind\u00edgenas e Comunidades Locais (PIs e CLs) enfrentam no acesso ao financiamento para o clima e a biodiversidade quanto as solu\u00e7\u00f5es que j\u00e1 est\u00e3o sendo implementadas nos territ\u00f3rios.<\/p>\n\n

Com base nas experi\u00eancias de mulheres l\u00edderes de PIs e CLs da \u00c1frica, \u00c1sia e Am\u00e9rica Latina, bem como nas li\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas que emergem dos fundos territoriais, o relat\u00f3rio examina as barreiras estruturais que continuam a limitar o acesso das mulheres ao financiamento direto. Ao mesmo tempo, apresenta abordagens inovadoras e culturalmente fundamentadas que est\u00e3o ajudando a garantir que os recursos cheguem a iniciativas lideradas por mulheres, fortale\u00e7am a governan\u00e7a territorial e apoiem a a\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica e de biodiversidade a partir da base. <\/p>\n\n

Durante o evento de lan\u00e7amento, mulheres l\u00edderes de PIs e CLs compartilharam suas experi\u00eancias navegando em sistemas de financiamento que muitas vezes n\u00e3o reconhecem suas realidades, prioridades e lideran\u00e7a. Representantes de fundos territoriais apresentaram exemplos concretos de mecanismos de financiamento com perspectiva de g\u00eanero que j\u00e1 est\u00e3o expandindo oportunidades para mulheres de PIs e CLs em diversas regi\u00f5es. Doadores e parceiros tamb\u00e9m se juntaram \u00e0 conversa para refletir sobre como o financiamento para o clima e a biodiversidade pode apoiar melhor a lideran\u00e7a das mulheres e as solu\u00e7\u00f5es impulsionadas pelas comunidades. <\/p>\n\n

Uma mensagem central surgiu ao longo da discuss\u00e3o: as mulheres de PIs e CLs n\u00e3o s\u00e3o apenas benefici\u00e1rias do financiamento clim\u00e1tico \u2014 elas s\u00e3o l\u00edderes, detentoras de direitos, detentoras de conhecimento e atores-chave na prote\u00e7\u00e3o das florestas, da biodiversidade e do clima. Fortalecer o financiamento direto para suas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es e iniciativas \u00e9 essencial para alcan\u00e7ar resultados mais eficazes, equitativos e duradouros. <\/p>\n\n

O relat\u00f3rio oferece recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas para doadores, formuladores de pol\u00edticas, institui\u00e7\u00f5es de financiamento e organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de Povos Ind\u00edgenas e Comunidades Locais que buscam avan\u00e7ar no financiamento direto com perspectiva de g\u00eanero e fortalecer a lideran\u00e7a das mulheres de PIs e CLs no financiamento para o clima e a biodiversidade.<\/p>\n\n
